This unit tackles what we often assume we know: who God is and what Christ did for us. Fundamental to knowing God is understanding the nature of God and what God has done in Jesus’ death and resurrection. Attention in this unit is given to the mystery of the Trinity and God’s attributes. Other topics include the atonement and the resurrection, as well as the ascension. By studying this unit, students will get a better grasp of the nature of God and the work of Christ, learn to think theologically, and apply these lessons to life and ministry.
