Ridley offers you a highly flexible training experience, that combines the best of evangelical scholarship with specialised practical training and several study modes or options. These include on-campus, online, in-context, part-time and full-time.
Of all these options studying full-time on-campus provides the best opportunity to learn how to be an integrated person in ministry by developing critical skills alongside peer relationships, and by working on these competencies at the same time with full focus and without distraction. Full-time study allows you to explore a variety of ministries, not just the one where you work while in College.
On-campus students benefit from Learning Communities which provide you with the opportunity to specialise in particular ministry areas, with new subjects, specialist speakers, mentoring and networking opportunities. Whether you want to be a church planter, Anglican minister, educational chaplain, youth worker, missionary or pastor in a non-Anglican denomination, our learning communities offer you a tailored learning experience.
Of course, if your circumstances mean that online study is the only realistic option, then Ridley offers a world-class online learning program that includes opportunities for spiritual formation and skills’ development. Part-time and evening classes also give you an opportunity to enjoy the Ridley community and to work or engage in ministry whilst you study,
Courses across these modes range from a six-month Graduate Certificate of Divinity, one-year Graduate Diploma, three-year Bachelor of Ministry, Bachelor of Theology, and Master of Divinity, Master of Ministry degrees. We also offer postgraduate courses for those who already have a theological degree including MA(Theology), MA(Ministry), MTh, PhD and ThD. We are approved to deliver the self-accredited courses of the Australian College of Theology and fee-help is available to eligible students.
