Course Description
The Diploma of Theology is an entry-level course that provides an introduction to the Bible and Christian theology, with the opportunity to learn some basic ministry skills.
The diplomas are a great way for Christians to grow in their knowledge and faith and are suitable for some ministry vocations. They are generally not suited to full-time ministry which typically requires the completion of a three or four-year degree.

Admission Requirements

- ATAR: Completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 65 or above; OR
- Previous Qualifications: Successful completion of a qualification at AQF Level 5
or above; OR
- Demonstrate Academic Suitability for Course: Successful completion of the Ridley Bridging Program or interview.
- Language Qualifications for NESB: IELTS 6.5 overall with minimum of 6.0 in each subtest OR 10 years in Australia with English being the language primarily spoken both at home and work.

Course Structure
The Diploma of Theology has eight subjects, each worth 12 credit points. The course has five core subjects, two Bible and Languages or Christian Thought electives, and one elective from any field of study.
