Diploma of Ministry

The Diploma of Ministry  is an entry level course that provides an introduction to the Bible and Christian theology, with the opportunity to learn some basic ministry skills.

Within this diploma, there are two ‘pathways’.

  • Pathway 1 consists of 12 subjects to be taken at diploma (200) level. Currently, Ridley only offers this pathway in our program for Non-English Speaking Background students.
  • Pathway 2 consists of 8 subjects taken at bachelor degree (300 & 400) level. In other words, it is the first year of a Bachelor of Theology or Bachelor of Ministry.

The Diploma of Ministry is a great way for Christians to grow in their knowledge and faith and are suitable for some ministry vocations. They are generally not suited to full-time ministry which typically require the completion of a three or four-year degree.

Pathway 2 can be extended to a Bachelor of Theology or Bachelor of Ministry.
