Course Description

The Bachelor of Ministry will give you a thorough grounding in the Bible, church history, and Christian theology, with a particular emphasis on practical ministry.

Graduates will be qualified to teach, preach and provide leadership in ministry and pastoral care. The Bachelor of Ministry can be extended to a 4-year combined Bachelor of Ministry/Bachelor of Theology degree or an Honours year can be undertaken in preparation for a research degree.

Requirements
  • ATAR: Completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 65 or above; OR
  • Previous Qualifications: Successful completion of a qualification at AQF Level 5
    or above; OR
  • Demonstrate Academic Suitability for Course: Successful completion of the Ridley Bridging Program or interview.
  • Language Qualifications for NESB: IELTS 6.5 overall with minimum of 6.0 in each subtest OR 10 years in Australia with English being the language primarily spoken both at home and work.

Credit Points 288 (24 subjects), including at least 72 credit points at Level 7

Course Structure
The Bachelor of Ministry has 24 subjects, each worth 12 credit points (unless stated otherwise). Units in this course are completed at Level 5 and above, with no more than 144cps at Level 5, and including at least 72cps at Level 7.
