Posted: 19/10/18

Scripture Union NT is seeking to appoint an executive leader of Scripture Union in the Northern Territory.

The Director will be a committed Christian who also participates actively in their local church. His or her aim will be to build on the organisation’s existing strong foundation and be a motivational leader. The Director will play a critical role in ensuring the future spiritual and financial stability of SUNT.

The Director will work collaboratively with Northern Territory churches, schools and school chaplaincies, para church organisations and supportive volunteers to facilitate the delivery of SUNT ministry, throughout the Northern Territory. A strong element of this work includes training, coaching and mentoring of staff and volunteers.
The Director’s role is a full-time job and is a challenging and exciting opportunity to grow SUNT and to lead and manage its daily activities in ministry to children, young people and families.

The role is based in Darwin, but will involve some travel to meet with other State Directors and provide training and pastoral care in other parts of the Northern Territory.
