About the Role
Women’s Pastor
4 days/week
This is a part-time position (4 days a week) for a mature Christian woman to facilitate a culture of discipleship, mentoring and outreach among women, encouraging them to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
You will need to be able to work effectively with a small staff team, have a Reformed/Evangelical outlook in your Christian faith and hold to a complementarian framework in your ministry practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Senior Minister and other staff to undertake discipling and visitation of women, encouraging them in Christian growth and maturity.
- Organise and supervise Women’s Ministry, including outreach activities to women.
- Have oversight of women’s Growth Group leaders.
- Identify, train & mentor women to lead in Women’s Ministry, women’s Growth Groups and discipling relationships.
- Follow up with female newcomers, especially single women, assisting them to connect with the church.
- Other duties as required by the Minister and Session
About Harbourside Presbyterian
At Harbourside our passion is to see people come to know God through faith in the Lord Jesus. We desire to grow as followers of Jesus as we seek to reach our city and reach the world with the good news of what Jesus has done.
We meet at one site in the CBD of Coffs Harbour and have two morning services and one evening service each Sunday. Approximately 500 people regularly attend services at Harbourside, and we have a staff team of eight, including four full-time pastors and one ministry trainee.
