Parents’ Seminar: Surviving the Emotional Rollercoaster of Adolescence

When: 8 October 2019, 7:15 pm

Speaker: Chris Hudson

**Update: the event will be live-streamed!**

We know that being a parent means sometimes being busy. We’ve decided to set up a live stream available to all those who book a ticket. The link will be available to you on the day of the seminar. Whether you’re attending in person or via live-stream, we look forward to a great seminar together!

This seminar will equip parents of teenagers to navigate the emotional extremes that can occur during adolescence, in turn helping them to raise teenagers who are emotionally aware and resilient. Some topics covered include:

  • Common reasons for emotional extremes in adolescence
  • How to make the home a safe and calm place – even with teenagers
  • What parents can do to help teenagers manage their own emotions
  • How to set and maintain healthy emotional boundaries with teenagers
  • How parents can equip teenagers to be emotionally resilient

Speaker: Chris Hudson is the brains behind the book Understanding Teenagers, a ministry specializing in reducing the challenges and increasing the satisfaction for adults raising teenagers. www.understandingteenagers.com.au
