We would love you to join us at Green Acres Golf Club in Kew for a night of good fun, food and fellowship on Friday 10 November 2023.
Ridley's theme for 2023 has been "Answering The Call" and this will be the focus for this year’s dinner. We are very excited that Rev Megan Curlis-Gibson, vicar of Deep Creek Anglican, will be our keynote speaker. She will be speaking on “Touchpoints in the Toil - the place of the theological college in sustaining today’s local church ministers.”
51 Elm Grove, Kew East VIC 3102
Megan Curlis-Gibson answered the call to ministry at Ridley College in 1999. She has over two decades experience preaching and leading in Anglican churches and schools in Melbourne and for the last four years she has been the vicar of Deep Creek Anglican, a multigenerational and multicultural church in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Megan is a gifted and warm communicator and pastor, helping the church articulate and live out an authentic, experiential and deep-thinking faith in Jesus that is refreshing to themselves, others and the world.
Megan also contributes to the life of the Diocese as Area Dean, Council member, and most recently, as Chair of People and Culture, all of which allow her to express her commitments to sustainable clergy wellbeing and healthy Christian organisations. Megan is married to Phil and they are parents to an incredible teenage daughter, and they all live amongst the gum trees with a noisy Cocker Spaniel.
