Linda and Robert Banks
Robert Banks has held teaching positions in universities and theological colleges in Australia and overseas, including Professor of the Ministry of the Laity and Director of the De Pree Leadership Centre at Fuller Theological Seminary in Los Angeles. His award-winning writings cover a broad field, including biblical studies, Christian community, faith and work, lifestyle and leadership, apologetics and film. He has also authored two widely-read books focusing on missions, The Church Comes Home and Re-envisioning Theological Education. Over the years, he has worked closely with people in business, the media, and education in both advanced and developing countries.
Linda Banks has a background in teaching and was a staff worker for the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. She has also been Associate Pastor in both Anglican and Baptist churches and a Chaplain at Macquarie University. With Robert, she has made several visits to China. They have spoken at Universities, Theological Colleges, the United Bible Society, and the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences’ Bible in China Seminar.
They are members of the Yale-Edinburgh World Mission Network, the Global China Centre, and the International Association of Mission Studies.
