About Anglican Parish of Banyule
Banyule Anglican Church is an evangelical Church with a rich tradition of both formal and informal liturgy. Our parish consists of two Churches (St John’s Heidelberg, Holy Spirit Watsonia).
We have Sunday Services at each Church most weeks (9:30am; 5pm) but we meet for a Combined Parish Service on the third and fifth Sundays of each month at 9:30am.
Our parishioners are mostly older retired folk, with some young families with school aged children.
In 2024, we will be served by the Vicar Rev Denise Nicholls, and hopefully a part time minister as well. Our Parish has a history of providing training opportunities for students and Curates trained at Ridley College to assist them in their preparation for ministry; it is our desire to continue this in 2024.
This is a paid position.
