The Womens’ Preaching Network is for Christian women and is focused on encouraging, supporting and equipping you for a teaching and preaching ministry. Young or old, brand new or with a lifetime of experience – all are welcome

Preacher: Kimberly Smith is a pastor, speaker and author of the book “What We Cannot Be Alone | Understanding Singleness in God’s Family”.

Trainer: Hannah Craven is an ordained Anglican minister and has been serving at St. Michael’s, North Carlton since 2014.

Presentation Skills, training by Hannah Craven: Ever been to a presentation where the content was really great, but the delivery left a bit to be desired?  We all have.  Of course, for female preachers, there’s a whole new set of ‘presentation’ issues as well.  Your clothes, jewellery, hair, and make-up, your voice, your height, and yes – probably your size and shape – are all just as likely to be commented on as the content of your sermon!  We’ll talk through some of these issues that face female preachers in particular, as well as cover some basics (including some what-not-to-do’s!) of presentation, to help you deliver an engaging and compelling sermon.”

If you would like to follow the Network on Facebook, please find us here. This page contains what we are about, as well as info and updates from our network.
