Join us for our next Women’s Preaching Network on 20 September, where we will continue to hear from women preachers, and be encouraged and trained. Karen Morris will be preaching from Acts 6-7 on A Faith Worth Dying For. We will also receive training from Chris Swann on A Model for Preaching to the Heart.
Bio: Karen loves telling people about Jesus, and is keen to encourage and help others do the same. She came to faith during her last year at school and has been passionate about helping others come to know Jesus ever since.
Karen has worked with University students for decades, and was a CMS missionary among students with her husband in Spain and Belgium. She currently ministers as an evangelist with the Christian Union at Monash University in Melbourne, at her local church, and in her local community (the gym, the shops, the school).
Karen is the author of Leading Better Bible Studies, which she co-authored with her husband Rod, and has two young adult children, Isaac and Anneke.
About Chris Swann
Bio: Chris is the Director of Training for City to City Australia. He’s also an honorary Assistant Minister at St Augustine’s, Moreland, and teaches and tutors in ministry and practice at Ridley. He completed a PhD through St Mark’s National Theological Centre in Canberra in 2018, which focused on the theme of discipleship in Karl Barth’s late doctrine of sanctification. He loves preaching, and helping preachers to grow in their ability to bring the grace of the gospel of Christ to bear in people’s hearts so that they change from the inside out.
