As the world settles into a new normal, many Christians have found a silver lining in the cloud; An opportunity to restart mission and evangelism in our cities. In this webinar, we bring together a panel of Christian leaders to discuss innovative ideas of doing mission in their local church context. What are some excellent models and strategies that will help Christians be effective gospel workers in any context their in.

Panelists: 

Stephen Tan: Pastor, Regeneration Church Monash

Stephen is married to Kallie and is the pastor of Regeneration Church. Prior to planting Regeneration Church, Stephen worked in superannuation and insurance while serving in a variety of ministry roles over the last 13 years. He did his theological training at Ridley College (MDiv) and church planter training with City to City Australia. Stephen grew up in Malaysia and is convinced that Malaysia has the best food. He is still waiting for Liverpool FC to win their first Premier League title. Stephen and Kallie both live with Cloud, their fluffy and playful Japanese Spitz.

 

Julie-Anne Laird: Director of Missional Engagement, City to City

Julie-Anne is the Director of Missional engagement for City to City Australia and would love to see real gospel movement across Australia.  She has a real heart for people to know Christ and would love to see Churches doing this better. For the last 20 years, she has worked with AFES helping students reach out to the Uni Campus at both Melbourne and LaTrobe. She is the Chair of Lausanne Australia and has been a Victorian Coordinator for Arrow Leadership for the last 12 years. She is also the Young Adults Pastor at their local Church, All Saints Anglican Church in Greensborough, Melbourne.

 

Jamie Murray: Head Coach, Renegade Gym

A black belt Brazilian Ju-Jitsu wrestler, Jamie Murray is head coach of Renegade Gym in the Inner-west of Melbourne. A Ridley graduate himself; Jamie is passionate about the gospel and bringing the kingdom of God into his gym and everything that he does. Jamie is also a co-founder of Grapplers For Christ, a Christian network that aims to bring Christian BJJ wrestlers together for a common mission to advance God’s kingdom.
