Established in 1919, BCA is an Anglican affiliated mission society that has a heart for people living in rural, remote and regional Australia. We are committed to going the distance to reach Australia for Christ. In recognition of this role and both his time serving in the Bendigo Diocese and the links between the Diocese and BCA, Greg has been appointed Canon Missioner (Emeritus) of St Paul’s Cathedral Bendigo, Victoria.

Joel grew up in Tasmania, becoming a Christian at 15 through involvement in the local Anglican youth group. After completing a Bachelor of Social Science (Police Studies), Joel went on to work as a school chaplain and Youth Minister, before completing a Bachelor of Theology.
In 2011 Joel and his wife Kristina were ordained and began ministering in the parish. He leads the parish in its vision to be a group of healthy churches in South East Tasmania.
He has a passion in helping people know Jesus, teaching the Bible, leading music, and with Kristina and family, wants to see the churches in the parish growing disciples and blessing their communities.
In his spare time Joel enjoys making music (guitar and banjo), drinking coffee, and is a Brazilian JiuJitsu purple belt.
