The Leon Morris Library plays an important role in Ridley’s academic and community life.
Our dedicated librarians and assistants are here to help you with your research and information needs.

While non-members are welcome to read in the Library, borrowing is restricted to members.
Library members include Ridley College students and staff, students and staff of St Andrew’s Hall and others who have paid a library membership fee.

The Leon Morris Collection
The Leon Morris Collection is comprised of books and journals donated to the library from the personal collection of the Reverend Dr Leon Morris.
The Leon Morris Archive is a display of the collected writings of Revd Dr Leon Morris, Principal of Ridley College from 1964 to 1979. The collection contains 140 volumes written, co-written, edited or contributed to by Dr. Morris. 
The Reverend Dr Leon Morris
The Reverend Dr Leon Morris, Principal of Ridley College from 1964-1979, was a pre-eminent and influential Australian Evangelical Christian scholar. Our library was named in his honour in 1984. It is with the generous support of the Leon and Mildred Morris Foundation that we continue to build a world-class collection.
Charles Perry Collection
The Charles Perry Collection was launched in July 2009 by Archbishop Philip Freier, Archbishop of Melbourne.  The collection is named after Charles Perry, the first Bishop of Melbourne, and is being developed into a specialist research collection covering evangelicalism in all its aspects, including:
- The Evangelical Revival, the Great Awakening.
- The sources of the Evangelical Revival.
- The Reformation and Evangelical Anglicanism.
- The later expressions of Evangelicalism, within denominations and in new denominations, and in missions, theology, worship and ministry.
Initial and substantial funding for the Collection was provided by a generous donation from the Leon and Mildred Morris Foundation. The library welcomes gifts of money and suitable materials for the collection.
Betteridge Collection
The Betteridge Collection is comprised of rare books from the personal collection of the Reverend Canon Maruice Betteridge Principal of Ridley College from 1979-1992.
