Ridley student and personal trainer Steph McDonald joins us to discuss health and fitness as part of the Christian life. We will be discussing some of the reasons why it’s important for Christians to be healthy and fit, and some practical guidelines for cultivating good habits surrounding exercise and diet – especially during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
About Stephanie McDonald:
Steph is a qualified personal trainer and allied health assistant. She has worked in gyms, conducting one on one and group training sessions, and has worked with physiotherapists and exercise physiologists in delivering prehab and rehab programs for people with injuries and neurological conditions. Steph is passionate about teaching and empowering people of all backgrounds, experience levels, and abilities to be confident in participating in exercise and taking care of their health in a way that in manageable and specific to their individual needs and preferences. She specialises in training for injury prevention, fat loss and basic hypertrophy, and sports-specific and interval training.
