Discover the Role of Women in the Early Church

What did life look like for women in the early Christian world? How did Jesus interact with women? What role did women play in the first Christian communities?

Ridley’s newest unit, Women in the New Testament, explores these questions and more. This intensive will introduce you to significant female characters, stories about women, and teaching about women in the New Testament. Together we’ll examine cultural and historical backgrounds, survey Jesus’ interactions with women, and tackle some of the most debated texts about women’s roles in the home and the church.
