Set aside Time !

Set aside Time

You might find it beneficial to set aside an hour each week, a day each month, or whatever time you can manage.  It is suggested that you use these resources over the month to prompt your discernment and to invite God into your discernment process. It will be your choice whether you set aside time to use these resources and how you use them.

Engage with God and your community

These resources assume the authority of the Bible and the active, guiding presence of God through the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-14). God has promised us fullness of life which is found in his Word. God has also placed us in community so that we can learn from others and share with others as we grow in understanding of our life with God.  

Remember your freedom

While I have made suggestions, it is important you remember that the resources are not meant to be prescriptive but are tools to prompt prayers, thoughts, and conversations. 

Trust God’s timing

When it comes to discernment we cannot force God’s timing for answers. Be patient and persistent.
