Families Minister

Full-time

Oakleigh Anglican is seeking a Families Minister to work between 0.8 to full-time (per negotiation) to continue and further develop our ministries to children and families both in the parish and in our current outreach ministries.

Oakleigh Anglican has developed a number of stepping stone ministries into our community from the regular mainly music and Messy Movie through to the more explicitly evangelistic Messy Church. A key characteristic will be in building relationships across the parish and with fringe/new people. The new families minister will be central in leading and organising these ministries with the vicar and lay teams.

Oakleigh Anglican Church is a small and growing parish excited to see the gospel going into our community and beyond. We are a church that sees the Bible as God’s word and authority in all matters of life and faith as we seek to engage with our wider community as we proclaim Jesus. As an Anglican Church, we are under the leadership of the senior minister (the Vicar) and the governance of our Parish Council and Wardens within the wider structures of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
