About the Role

English Pastor

GCCCC is prayerfully seeking a passionate and spiritually mature, and relational English Pastor to shepherd and disciple our English congregation. The successful candidate should demonstrate a
heart for English-speaking Asian and cross-cultural ministry within a multi-lingual church environment.

This role will focus on three Key Ministry Areas:

• Bridging and integrating second- and third-generation youths of migrant families into the
• English congregation and wider church community
• The English Pastor will work collaboratively with church leadership and ministry leaders to support
• Shepherding and discipling current English congregation members and their networks
• Discipling and nurturing the English Committee and Ministry Team members

About Gold Coast Chinese Christian Church

The GCCCC was established in 1990 and has faithfully served the Chinese community on the Gold Coast for over 30 years. Since 2007, we have gathered at our premises in Arundel, with a mission to reach both the Chinese population and English-speaking Asians for Jesus Christ.

GCCCC is a multi-lingual and multi-generational church community of over 200 people across our three congregations (Cantonese, Mandarin, and English) and Children’s Sunday School. Our Chinese congregations primarily consist of first-generation migrant families, while our English congregation consists of senior high school and uni students, and young working adults aged from 16 to mid-30s.

• To evangelise the Chinese and English-speaking Asian communities on the Gold Coast
• To build disciples of Christ through biblical teaching, ministry service, and faithful witness
• To collaborate with churches and organisations of the same faith – both locally and abroad
