Children’s Minister (Part-time) – South East Anglican Tasmania

Posted: 27/10/21

South East Anglican is a large Parish that covers much of the beautiful South-East corner of Tasmania. We currently have five congregations that meet regularly or semi-regularly in the Parish.

The largest of these congregations is Southern Beaches which averages 45 parishioners each week. Every congregation, whilst stylistically different, focus on the gospel every week through teaching, songs, prayers, and sacraments. All of our ministries are similarly grounded in the gospel.

Our vision is that all parishioners would be living and sharing the Good News of Jesus in all of their various contexts and life stages.

Our Parish Values are:

These are values we want every parishioner and leader to strive to embody and display to our wider community.

South East Anglican (SEA) is looking for a Children’s Minister to operate across our Parish as part of our Ministry Team. The position is part-time (16-24 hours per week), with hours depending on the applicant.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus and his Good News, has a passion for growing young disciples and is enthusiastic to grow in their ministry capabilities.

This position would suit a man or woman with previous experience in Children’s Ministry and some theological training. There may also be options for the successful applicant to consider formal Anglican Ordination if they are interested.
