Children’s Minister
Part-time – Maternity Leave Replacement
The Children’s Minister is a person who has a love for children and is passionate about seeing them encounter God, in his word and through his people. They love working as part of the wider staff team to see our kids have an active and substantial role in the mission of our church to ‘know Jesus and make Jesus known’.
The position exists so that children in our church and community grow in their intimacy with Jesus, obedience to Jesus and mission for Jesus. The successful applicant will have a heart for families to be equipped to know Jesus and make Jesus known. They will build a dynamic and missional ministry, lead a team of volunteers and effectively partner with families to disciple their children.
The Children’s Minister will work closely with the Director of Ministry and receive coaching, training and support from the City on a Hill Movement Director of Next Generation Ministry. This is a paid part-time, 18-month maternity leave position of 3 days per week, with a possibility of an ongoing role.
