About the Position
Associate Minister/Church Planting Residency
Full Time, 3-year contract
Are you a reformed theological college graduate with a passion to see evangelical churches established and rejuvenated in regional Australia? Orange Evangelical Church (OEC) has a full-time position for a Church planting residency starting in 2023. For three years you will train and grow as a minister of the Gospel at OEC and in Orange, in preparation to plant a church.
You’ll be responsible to grow the integration of new members into our church and launch new ministries that engage with Orange. You will need to have excellent people skills, an ability to oversee large ministry systems, skills in expositional preaching and the ability to launch new initiatives. You will undertake training in planting, preaching, leadership and evangelism at OEC, in preparation to be sent as a church planter.
About Orange Evangelical Church
Since being planted in 1996, OEC has grown from a launch team of 70 to four congregations with 850 members meeting in our own Ministry Centre. OEC’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus: God’s people taking God’s message with God’s help to Orange and beyond.
In our next season of growth, we’re looking to multiply gospel ministry in regional Australia. In order to do that, we’re looking for an associate pastor who will serve across OEC as part of the mission, vision and values of our church.
