DPC’s Vision and Purpose
Darebin Presbyterian Church’s (DPC) vision is “to see 10% of City of Darebin deeply satisfied in knowing and serving Christ.”

We believe that the central purpose of the church is to make disciples of Christ, so we exist to make thousands of disciples whose lives are deeply shaped by the truths of God’s Word-in particular the gospel- so that they are deeply satisfied in knowing and serving Christ.

To enable us to take our next steps towards realising our vision we are seeking to employ an Assistant Minister to oversee the Maturity and Ministry portfolios in the life of our church.

The position is full – time, ongoing, and will commence from January 1st 2019. Remuneration will be in accordance with the standards set by the Presbyterian Church of Victoria.

The person will be either an ordained Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, or someone who is willing to serve within the doctrinal boundaries of the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the procedural boundaries of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria detailed in the PCV Code Book (available at: https://pcv.org.au/resources/documents/).

The person will have an M Div. or equivalent in biblical and theological studies.
