About the Role
After-school Kids’ Club Team Member
Casual (Paid)
Christ Church Hawthorn currently runs “Shine”, a Christian after-school kids’ club for primary school-age children on Thursday afternoons. We seek more team members for this ministry. We are also looking to expand this ministry to include a youth group for senior school students on another evening each week.
We are looking for:
- Christians who are keen to see others come to faith in Christ
- team members with a passion in working with children and seeking their wellbeing and safety
- fun-loving team players enthusiastic about helping others
- people with initiative and creativity
Team members usually serve at least 3 pm to 6 pm, Thursdays, within school term dates, with the possibility of more hours.
About Christ Church Hawthorn
Christ Church Hawthorn is an evangelical (gospel and Bible-based) church located at 2 Denham Street Hawthorn (corner Church Street), on both Tram routes 48 and 75, not far up from Hawthorn Station. The church is immediately next door to Hawthorn West Primary School.
We strive to provide an environment that is warm, caring and engaging for children and families. We believe it is important that every child in our care feels at home in a secure environment where they can grow and learn.
