Training: Speaking Evangelically at Special Event
Have you ever made the effort to invite a friend to a special church service or event and then felt your heart sink with disappointment as your friend completely disengages during the evangelistic talk? Having the opportunity to speak evangelistically at special events and services is a great privilege. Maria’s training session aims to help you make the most of this privilege and to speak in a way that is relevant, engaging and draws people to Christ.

Our trainer is Maria Brand-Starkey. Maria is the Vicar of St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Warrandyte. She is married to Byron and they have two girls; Azariah (8) and Aleila (6). (Photo supplied)

Preacher: Karen Morris will deliver an evangelistic talk from a Christmas gingerbread house event.
