When: Thursday 19 April, 5:15 pm refreshments for 5:45 pm lecture
Speaker: Graham Stanton
What is needed today so that youth ministers will be able to meet the demands of tomorrow? Answering this question is all the more challenging in an unpredictable and rapidly changing ministry environment. Viewed from the perspective of complexity theory, effective youth ministry in an uncertain future must develop processes of innovation and experimentation. The lecture explores the theological convictions and relational dynamics that promote rather than inhibit adaptation and exploration.
The lecture will be followed by the Re-Launch of the Ridley Centre for Children’s and Youth Ministry Dinner at 7:15 pm.
