Staff Updates: COO and CFO Appointments and Farewell

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Susan Bradbeer as our new COO, who brings a wealth of management and teaching expertise to our team, at both secondary and tertiary levels in Melbourne and rural Victoria. At the same time, we’re pleased to promote Ben Roberts to CFO; his deep understanding of Ridley and his experience here ensure he is exceptionally well-placed for this role. Both will officially begin their new positions on July 13, 2026.
Farewell
These changes come as we farewell Michael Petering, who has served as our CFO for the past seven years. By transitioning from Michael’s dual COO/CFO role into two specialised positions, we are ensuring both areas have the dedicated focus needed for Ridley’s future. In his time at Ridley, Michael has transformed Ridley’s operations, ensuring greater effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency. We are incredibly grateful for Michael’s significant contributions and wish him the very best as he explores what’s next.
