Faculty Announcement: Congratulations Kate Beer
Dear Friends,
I am writing with the exciting news that our faculty member Revd Kate Beer has been appointed Director of Ordinands with the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne starting from the 12 November 2026. Congratulations Kate!
This is a wonderful opportunity for Kate, as well as a fantastic new role at the Anglican Centre to encourage people to consider vocational ministry in our city and beyond. Kate’s contributions at Ridley in the Anglican Institute, in preparing videos on indigenous Christianity, and in teaching Professional Pastoral Supervision and Reflective Practice have been significant and will prove long-lasting. We will of course miss Kate’s care for students and ordinands at Ridley, but we look forward to the ways that the Lord will bless many through her new ministry.
Join us in praying for Kate as she finishes her time at Ridley and commences this exciting new role with the Diocese.
With thanks
Rhys Bezzant
