Accessing Our Archives

The aim of Ridley’s archives is to document the history, functions and development of the College since its establishment in 1910. The material in the collection includes the administrative papers of the College, ephemera of the College, research and personal papers of prominent individuals employed by the College, and deposited material of individuals who were significant figures in the establishment and development of evangelical faith in Melbourne and who had connections with the College.

Access is by appointment only. We have limited staff resources so appointments are compulsory. Material may not be borrowed or taken out of the Archive. A suitable workspace will be provided for researchers within the Archive or College.

All researchers must complete and sign a user registration form which signifies their agreement to abide by the archive rules.

Every attempt will be made to provide access to the College’s collections, but there may be occasions when some material may be exempt on grounds of confidentiality, restricted access conditions or for reasons related to conservation.

We respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People, who are the Traditional Owners of the land on which the Ridley College campus is built.
Ridley College is an affiliated college with the Australian College of Theology, CRICOS Provider Code 02650E.
