Study Support

Studying at a Bible College can be rewarding, but can also be challenging at times. Ridley offers all our students, online or on campus, a range of support options to help you make the most of your time at Ridley and balance life, study and ministry.

Academic Counsellor – Our academic counsellor can help you plan your course, keep you on track and make arrangements when unforeseen circumstances happen.

College Tutors – College tutors offer support outside the classroom, on campus and online, to give you one-on-one feedback on your essay plan, explain difficult concepts and provide seminars on study, essay and exam skills.

Leon Morris Library – Our librarians are available for one-on-one sessions to assist you in finding resources for your essays. They also provide training and video tutorials on making the most of library services including our online databases, over 20,000 eBooks and extensive print collection.

Life and Ministry Groups – These small groups meet with a faculty member weekly to discuss issues related to ministry, study and our spiritual life. LMGs are for full-time first-year students (completing their first eight foundational units).

Learning Communities –  After completing 8 units (the equivalent of one year full time) you can  join one of our ‘learning communities’ to develop specialist ministry skills in a cohort, supported by a faculty mentor. You will still complete the core, but choose electives in your chosen field.

Faculty – Every member of faculty is dedicated to our students’ learning, is accessible on campus and via email, and offers students strong mentoring and support.
