Ridley College is an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). The tuition fees are set by ACT on an annual basis. More information about tuition fees is available at: https://www.actheology.edu.au/tuition-fees
The cost of individual subjects depends on the credit points for the subject. Most subjects are 4 credit points.
Fees are adjusted each year and are not set for the duration of the qualification.
Undergraduate (DipTh, DipMin, AdvDipTh, AdvDipMin [pathway two]; AssDegTh, AssDegMin, BChrStud, BMin or BTh):
$2,280 per subject / $18,240 full time, one year
this includes a $240 ACT administration fee per subject
Postgraduate coursework (MA[Theol] or MA[Min]):
$2,280 per subject (4cp) / $3,420 per subject (6cp)
this includes a $240 (4cp) and $360 (6cp) ACT administration fee per subject
Postgraduate research part-time (MTh, DMin, PhD, ThD):
$4,000 part-time mode per semester / $8,000 part time mode per year
this includes a $760 ACT administration fee per semester
Postgraduate research full-time (MTh, DMin, PhD, ThD):
$8,000 full-time mode per semester/ $16,000 full-time mode per year
this includes a $1,520 ACT administration fee per semester
Study Tour (all students): $8,000
this includes a $240 (domestic students), $360 (overseas students) ACT administration fee per 245/445/645/745-4 (4cp) subject and a $360 (domestic students), $540 (overseas students) ACT Administration fee per 745-6 (6cp) subject.
Postgraduate research full-time (MTh, PhD or ThD):
$9,600 full-time mode per semester / $19,200 per year
this includes a $1,920 ACT administration fee per semester
Online students are responsible for their own internet connection, and for return postage of any books borrowed from the library. The library pays for postage to students.
Students auditing a unit/s (participating in learning but not submitting assessment or receiving academic credit) pay 80% of the tuition fee. This mode of study is available for both on-campus and online students. Please note that FEE-HELP is not available to auditing students.
Candidates for ordination for dioceses other than those in the Diocese of Melbourne will pay an annual ordination training fee of $1,600 ($800 per semester).
Students making alterations to their unit enrolments may be charged administration fees if these alterations occur after administrative deadlines throughout the semester – these fees are set annually by the ACT.
