Youth Context, Development & Learning

DM412 / DM612    Youth: Context, Development and Learning

This subject is designed to help you understand young people better.  There are three sections to the course:

  1. Youth in society
  2. Youth development and learning
  3. Ministry with youth

These areas provide insight into the world that young people are growing up in, as well insight into how young people spiritually, emotionally, socially, cognitively and physically develop.  There is also an opportunity to observe and engage with young people to develop your skills in ministering to this age group.  This subject is highly recommended for anyone who is engaged in work with young people or anyone who wants to have a better general understanding of ‘youth’.
