Ministry in Culturally Diverse Contexts

This important core unit will alert you to your own cultural embeddedness in order to equip you to better engage with people in the context of cultural diversity. 

You will learn to meet the challenges of communicating the gospel and establishing a congregation in a culture different to your own.  

This unit provides vital skills for ministry whether you will serve in an increasing cross cultural city like Melbourne, among people of a different socio-economic background, or overseas.


Workload: One semester, 4 credit points, 36 contact hours plus field trip.
Status: Elective
Prerequisites: 32 Credit points of core foundation units.
