Ministry in post-Christian Australia is demanding and complex. It can also be very draining, and even discouraging. Ridley’s professional learning provides you with encouragement, stimulation and learning to keep you fresh and strengthen your leadership and teaching.

Professional Learning is already in place At Ridley Melbourne through our post-Graduate programs (MA, MTh and ThD) and The Centre for Preaching and Biblical Theology. Over the period 2010 to 2011 we will offer you more MA units directed at developing your ministry and missiological skills, providing seminars and conferences, and developing a highly focused, church growth oriented training and mentoring program.

Current Offerings

• In-Service Training
  Providing professional development education for those engaged in the practice of ministry by way of higher degrees and seminars, offering course in the Master of Arts in Theology, Doctor of Ministry programs.
• The Centre for Preaching and Biblical Theology
  The activities of this centre include the Annual Preaching Conference, Lay preachers’ conferences, and the ministry of the Faculty in writing and in speaking in Australia and overseas, as well as research, and the development of a Certificate in Preaching.
• Research Students
  We will supervise Research students, equipping you to serve in theological education in Australia and overseas. This will include personal supervision for MTh and ThD, and Post-Graduate seminars.
