MA (Theology)
Feeling stale?
The Master of Arts (Theology) is designed to keep those engaged in full time ministry fresh and stimulated.
All our MA courses have a strong pastoral orientation. The biblical courses provide a study of the theology, structure and themes of a book in depth, and serve as an excellent basis for a preaching series. Lecture content includes possible series structure and applications of the text.
Ministry related courses allow you to gain new skills, engage in fresh theological thinking about key pastoral issues and have a strong practical application which is reflected both in the curriculum and the assessment.
MA courses involve 25 hours of class work, and 8000 words of assignment. Students can expect around 500 pages of pre-reading. Class work is undertaken either in intensive mode or over five days spread throughout the semester.
