To enable candidates to study further the theology and major issues of two substantial blocks of New Testament material.

Content

  1. The major issues in contemporary study and the central themes of  Hebrews & 1 Peter
  2. Exegesis of the English text of 11–12 chapters or Greek text 7-8 chapters  drawn from Hebrews & 1 Peter

 

Workload: One semester, 4 credit points, 39 contact hours
Status: Elective
Pre-requisites / Co-requisites / Exclusions: 16 credit points of core foundation units which include NT301 and 302.
Note: No material may be chosen in this unit that duplicates material in units NT421/431, NT422/432, NT426/436 or NT427/437
