Anglican Ordination

Ridley Melbourne trains Anglican Ordinands for Melbourne and several other diocese. Ordination training is four years full time.
We seek to offer the best possible Anglican ministry formation program, producing gospel focused Anglican leaders for the next generation, for parishes, chaplaincies, theological colleges, and dioceses.
Our ordination program runs for four years as students undertake a three year degree, and several additional subjects as part of a ministry diploma.
Ordination candidates receive the same foundational studies as our other students, and we offer you a specialized training experience through the Anglican Institute. Your program includes supervised field placements, guided theological reflection and subjects focused on Anglican history and identity. As you serve on a chapel team you will gain experience in working with others in developing a range of styles of service. You will gain skills in preaching, and training other for ministry. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to test God’s call, develop a support network, and receive mentoring and support along the way.
Ridley's Anglican Institute page has further information about this specialist cohort.
