Youth in the Churches

DM411/DM611   Youth in the Churches

This subject is ideal for those who are currently working in a church with young people or those who want to gain a better understanding of youth ministry within a church context.  The subject allows the opportunity to wrestle through different youth ministry models, the theology of youth ministry, the role of young people within a church, Christian education and leadership within youth ministry.  There is also the opportunity for field education with a youth ministry placement being part of the overall assessment of the course.  This subject is highly recommended for current youth leaders, youth ministers and those training to be in key leadership roles within a church setting.
